Sportsmen's Dinner
This Special Event for the Club will be held on 6 June. Kevin Lynch (ex FIFA Referee )and Tony Roscoe (Comedian) will be entertaining the gentlemen for this fundraiser for our subscription channel. Tickets are fifteen pounds - ring 01706 222357 or 01706 214787.

Smoking Shelter
The Smoking Shelter is up!! A fine structure, it adds a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the Club. Thanks to all involved, especially as always to Liam and the two Freds, and to Maurice for his patience in obtaining the planning permission.
It has already been voted the best one in Haslingden(Town Centre).
Rumours that the Accrington bus will be making a detour to George Street are however unfounded.

Widescreen TV Has Arrived
Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Joyce and Liam Farrelly, the new widescreen TV was installed in the Club last Sunday. Thanks to all those who contributed, and to Bert Love and Mick Cassidy for helping to install it safely ! The TV has all the terrestial and freeview channels, and fundraising continues for a subscription channel. Colin will be hosting a Sportsman's Dinner on Friday 6 June as part of this effort. Watch out for more details of this coming soon.
